The Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute was heard on Thursday in the Supreme Court. The petitioners had demanded that the way the court had taken mediation on this issue, it is not working. On which the Supreme Court has sought a report from the arbitration panel. The report will now come out by July 18 and then it will be decided that there will be daily hearings in this matter.

The Supreme Court has also sought the report from the arbitration committee on this issue. Now the matter will be heard on July 25. The panel will have to submit the report till the next Thursday in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has said that if the panel says that the arbitration does not prove effective, then it will be heard daily in the open court after 25 July. That is, whether the arbitration will continue or not in this case, it will be decided on July 18.

On behalf of the Hindu side, advocate Ranjit Kumar has said that this case has been going on since 1950 but has not been solved yet. Arbitration has not been effective so the court should immediately hear the verdict. The party said that when the matter started, he was a young man, but now it has crossed 80 years now. But the matter is not resolved.

The case was heard by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice SA Bobde, DC Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and Abdul Nazir. The court has said that it was taking time in translation, due to this reason the mediation panel sought more time. Now we have sought the report from the panel.

Gopal Singh Visharad is also a native player in Ramjanm land dispute. Visharad has said in his petition that in order to clear the dispute, on March 8, a committee of three members, headed by former Supreme Court Justice FM Kalifulla, was formed but no progress was seen in it. Visharad has said in the petition that soon the hearing of the top court will be heard.

Visharad said in the petition that there have been three meetings of the arbitration committee till now but there is no possibility of a solution. Therefore, the apex court should hear it soon.
